Aarti's Jan-Michael Experience I discovered JM's existence when I went to watch the Samsung Open Championships in Nottingham, United Kingom 2003. I thought I would let you know about my experience. The Jan Michael Gambill game against Alex Bogdanovic was the last game of the day (also the most exciting). As he started playing he caught my eye and I was astonished my his determination and strength, he would stick out his butt as he waited for a return. During the game he got angry on a numerous of occasions leading him throwing his tennis raquet twice and shouting at the umpire. It was really amazing and showed how vital the game was to him. Sadly, he lost to Alex Bogdanovic and was deeply angry. I waited as he left the court and managed to take a photograph of him. He signed a few autographs, clearly looking tired and annoyed and hurried to leave. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience with you Aarti Thobhani |
